Potato 60 Second Routine is designed to help users build consistent exercise habits through short daily workouts, progress tracking, and streak-based motivation. To provide these features, we collect certain information as described in this Privacy Policy.
By creating an account, accessing, or using our Services, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy and agree to the collection, use, and disclosure of your information as described in this Privacy Policy.
If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, please do not use our Services.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to our Services, legal requirements, or our business practices. When we make material changes, we will update the "Effective Date" at the top of this Privacy Policy. Your continued use of the Services after the updated Privacy Policy becomes effective constitutes your acceptance of those changes.
2. Information We Collect
To provide and improve Potato60, we collect certain information when you create an account and use our Services.
Information You Provide
When you create or use your account, we may collect your email address, display name or username, and information provided through Sign in with Google or Sign in with Apple when you choose to use those authentication methods.
Fitness and App Data
To provide the core features of Potato60, we collect and store workout-related information such as your exercise repetitions, daily exercise streaks, lifetime exercise totals, friends list and social connections within the App, Premium subscription status, and any other workout information you choose to record while using the App.
Automatically Collected Information
When you use our Services, certain technical information may be collected automatically by our service providers to operate the App, improve reliability, and display advertisements. This information may include your device information, operating system version, app version, device identifiers used for advertising and fraud prevention, and basic diagnostic information necessary for the operation and security of the Services.
Information We Do Not Collect
Potato60 does not intentionally collect your precise GPS location, contacts or address book, photos or videos, camera data, health or medical information, or your credit card or payment details. All purchases are securely processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, and Potato60 does not receive or store your payment card information.
3. How We Use Your Information
Potato60 uses the information we collect to provide, maintain, and improve the Services. We use your information to provide and manage your account and authenticate your identity. We use it to track your exercise activity, including repetitions, streaks, lifetime totals, and progress history. We use it to synchronize data across devices and maintain your account information. We use it to enable social features such as friends lists and progress sharing. We use it to provide and manage Premium subscriptions and related features. We use it to display advertisements through third-party providers such as Google AdMob. We use it to respond to customer support requests and assist with account issues. We use it to send essential service communications such as password resets and security notifications. We use it to monitor, maintain, and improve the performance, reliability, and security of the Services. We also use information to comply with legal obligations and protect users and the integrity of the Services.
4. Authentication (Email, Google Sign-In & Sign in with Apple)
Potato60 allows users to create and access accounts using multiple authentication methods, including email and password, Google Sign-In, and Sign in with Apple.
When you register or sign in using any of these methods, we may receive certain information from the authentication provider, such as your email address, display name, and a unique user identifier associated with your account. This information is used to create and manage your Potato60 account, authenticate your identity, and provide access to the Services.
We do not receive or store your password for any third-party authentication method, and passwords are never accessible to us in plain text.
Authentication data is securely stored through Firebase Authentication and is used only for account management and core app functionality, including saving exercise data, streaks, progress, and social features.
By using third-party sign-in methods such as Google or Apple, you also agree to the privacy policies of those providers, which govern how they handle your data independently of Potato60.
5. Advertising (Google AdMob)
Potato60 displays advertisements through Google AdMob, a third-party advertising service provided by Google. These ads help support the free version of the Services.
Google AdMob may collect and use certain information for advertising purposes, including device identifiers, approximate device information, and interaction data with advertisements. This information may be used to display personalized or non-personalized ads, depending on the user’s region and privacy settings.
In some regions, including the European Economic Area (EEA), users may be shown a consent prompt before personalized advertising is enabled. Users may choose whether to allow personalized ads or continue with non-personalized ads where available.
Potato60 does not control the data collection practices of Google AdMob. These practices are governed by Google’s own privacy policies.
Users can limit ad personalization through their device settings or by adjusting privacy preferences provided by Google.
6. Premium Subscriptions
Potato60 may offer a paid Premium subscription that provides additional features and removes advertisements from the Services.
Premium subscriptions may be offered on a recurring basis, such as an annual subscription. Pricing, features, and availability may change over time. Any changes to subscription pricing or terms will be communicated through the App Store or Google Play Store prior to purchase or renewal.
All payments are processed securely by the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Potato60 does not collect or store any payment card information.
If you purchase a Premium subscription, your subscription will automatically renew unless canceled through your App Store or Google Play account settings before the end of the current billing period.
Premium features currently include the removal of advertisements. Additional features may be added or modified in the future as the Services evolve.
7. Data Storage & Security
Potato60 stores user data using secure cloud infrastructure provided by Firebase and related Google Cloud services. This includes account information, exercise data, streaks, and other app-related activity.
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to help protect your personal information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security of your data.
Passwords are not stored in plain text and are handled securely through Firebase Authentication. We do not have access to user passwords at any time.
Access to user data within Potato60 is limited to what is necessary to operate, maintain, and improve the Services.
While we take data protection seriously, users are responsible for maintaining the security of their own account credentials.
8. Data Retention
Potato60 retains user data for as long as an account remains active in order to provide the Services, including exercise tracking, streak history, and social features.
If a user deletes their account, their personal data will be deleted or anonymized within a reasonable period of time, except where we are required to retain certain information for legal, security, or operational purposes.
Some limited data may be retained in backups or logs for a short period of time after deletion, but it will no longer be associated with the user’s active account and will not be used to provide Services.
We may also retain certain non-personal or aggregated data that does not identify individual users for analytics and service improvement purposes.
9. Account Deletion
Potato60 provides users with the ability to delete their account and associated personal data.
Users may request account deletion directly within the app (when available) or by contacting us at potato60secondroutine@gmail.com.
When a deletion request is made, we will take reasonable steps to delete or anonymize personal data associated with the account, including profile information, exercise data, streaks, and social connections, except where we are required to retain certain information for legal, security, or operational purposes.
Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Once an account is deleted, access to the Services and any associated data will no longer be available.
Some limited data may remain in secure backups for a short period of time but will no longer be actively used or associated with the user.
10. Children’s Privacy
Potato60 may be used by individuals of all ages; however, the Services are not specifically directed toward children under the age of 13 (or the applicable minimum age in their country of residence).
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13 without verifiable parental consent. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided personal information without appropriate consent, we will take reasonable steps to delete such information as soon as possible.
Parents or guardians who believe that their child has provided personal information to Potato60 may contact us at potato60secondroutine@gmail.com to request deletion or review of the information.
We encourage parents and guardians to supervise their children’s use of the Services and to help enforce safe online practices.

These countries may have data protection laws that are different from those in your country of residence. By using Potato60, you consent to the transfer of your information to countries outside of your country of residence for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.
We take reasonable steps to ensure that your information is treated securely and in accordance with this Privacy Policy regardless of where it is processed.
